University of Hull - Gold TEF

We are incredibly proud to share with you the news that our outstanding teaching, learning and student outcomes have been recognised with a Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework 2023 (TEF) – announced today.  

The Gold rating – the highest award possible for the quality of our undergraduate student experience and student outcomes and a clear signal of excellence – is a tremendous achievement for our university.  

This follows recent successes – including being ranked top 20 in the UK in the Times Higher Education’s ‘Overall Positivity’ measure in its analysis of the National Student Survey 2023, our impressive results in the Research Excellence Framework and, most recently, being placed 44^th in the UK in THE World University Rankings 2024
