We’re excited to announce that UNSW is one of the top 20 universities globally based on the 2024 QS World University Rankings. 

Moving up 26 spots, UNSW is now equal 19th best university in the world.This top 20 position showcases the ongoing evolution of UNSW’s academic offering, which ensures our students learn in a world-class environment and graduate with a global degree that opens doors. 

Rankings such as QS provide an international benchmark that allows you to see which universities offer the best higher education. The rankings include 1,500 universities across more than 100 locations, with a methodical and rigorous selection process. 

UNSW excelled in the recently added criteria of sustainability, employment outcomes and International Research Network, ranking in the world’s top 25 for each and placing first in Australia for International Research Network (15th globally) and Employment Outcomes (25th globally).
