We are very excited to inform you that Deakin has seen continuing success in world university rankings with the release of the 2017 CWTS Leiden Rankings last week.
Deakin has climbed 37 places from last year’s list and is now ranked number.
The CWTS Leiden Rankings looks at the scientific performance of more than 900 universities from 54 countries around the world, assessing the research impact these universities have and their research collaborations.
This release continues a long trend of successful gains for Deakin in international university rankings. Last year, Deakin’s rankings performance placed it for the first time in the top 2% of universities worldwide, and third in Australia for graduate employability. And earlier this year saw the University experience excellent results in the 2017 QS Subject rankings: 24th in the world for Nursing, 28th for Education, and in the Top 1% for Accounting and Finance, Anthropology, Business and Management Studies, Communication and Media, Law, Philosophy, and Sociology. Deakin has also recently been ranked number 1 in the world for Sports Science by ShanghaiRankings.
