The rankings recognise academic excellence and industry-leading research of sport science schools, and Deakin’s success reflects the outstanding quality of our sport science programs and the University’s commitment to research that makes a difference.
Deakin Vice-Chancellor Professor Jane den Hollander said in response to the win, ‘Deakin strives every day to be amongst the best in Australia, but today, and for the first time in our short history, one of our key disciplines is rated as the very best, the top in the world!
