The University of Western Australia (UWA), continues to strengthen its position on the international stage with further increases achieved in its University rankings.
According to the 2017 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) UWA has been ranked 91 in the world, increasing its position by five places on the previous year. UWA have been ranked Australia’s best in four major subject areas in the latest ARWU results, those include biological sciences, agricultural sciences, as well as marine/ocean engineering, and environmental science and engineering.
For the first time, UWA have also entered the top 100 universities worldwide in the 2017/18 QS World University Rankings at number 96. These results reinforce the excellence achieved by their University partner and their focus on providing world class tertiary education.
